ECOFLORA CARES is an innovative company in the market of natural ingredients for the cosmetics and food industry based on Colombia’s rich biodiversity.

The company aims to positively impact the lives and environment of the families and communities that provide the raw material from which the blue jagua dye is made, following the guidelines of the Ethical BioTrade Standard. Our presence in the territories where we promote the cultivation of Genipa americana and its harvesting from wild trees will promote processes of technical development, social inclusion and sustainability. To this end, Ecoflora has adopted a complete biodiversity management system within its policies and procedures.

By 2025 we will meet at least 70% of the Ethical BioTrade indicators for the jagua fruit (Genipa americana) supply chain. Within the company, Supply Chain Management is responsible for this compliance.
